Hi, I’m Alicia

Life & Mindset Coach | DEIB and Mental Health advocate.

Believer in your power to rise even when you've forgotten it exists.

The Truth I Had to Learn the Hard Way

For years, I was everything for everyone else. Showed up strong at work, at home, for my family and for my friends — and honestly? I was good at it. On paper, I had it together. But underneath all that "I'm fine," I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on fumes and sheer willpower.

Then everything fell apart — all at once.

I lost my job. People disappeared from my life. And I was left with a question I'd been avoiding my whole life: Who am I when no one is watching?

Spoiler: I didn't love the silence at first. But that's where I found the answer — or rather, remembered it.

The answer was within me the whole time. I simply had to find my power within.

No one could take it. Not the job loss. Not the betrayal. Not the systems that tried to convince me I needed their approval to matter. No outside circumstance could define it. It was time to say yes to myself.

Through spiritual practice, therapy, coaching, and my own journey with anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence, I discovered what I now help other women remember: Joy, peace, and power come from within. Your body and soul already know. It's your mind that needs to catch up — and that's exactly where we start.

That’s why I created Empowered Within.

I knew there were women who were just like me. Today, I work with women who are overwhelmed, stuck, and quietly wondering is this really it? Drawing on my lived experience and my training in ICF and Gestalt methodologies, I help women stop questioning themselves and start trusting what they've always known.

You are not broken. You are not behind. You are remembering.

What I Believe

I believe transformation starts when we stop leaving ourselves out of the equation — and yes, that includes you.

✓ When I lost my job, I couldn't think my way out of burnout — my body was tired. I couldn't set goals — I was completely disconnected from my purpose. I tried. Trust me, I made the lists.

✓ Real change required all three: mind, body, and inner spirit working together — not just the parts of me that looked good on the outside.

✓ My job isn't to fix you — because you're not broken. I create a safe, honest, judgment-free space where you can slow down, get real with yourself, and start building life on your own terms.

My Approach

I don't just study this work. I've lived it — and I bring all of it into every session.

✓ Support that honors your lived experience — all of it, not just the parts that are easy to talk about.

✓ Coaching principles that see your whole self — not just the parts you've got figured out.

✓ Body wisdom practices that help you trust what you’re feeling.

✓ Spiritual guidance that follows your lead, not a rulebook.

✓ Someone who believes in this work and wasn't afraid to do it for herself.

You don't have to have it figured out to show up. Whether you're just starting to ask the questions or finally ready to act on the answers — wherever you are is exactly the right place to start.

Beyond the Work

A smiling woman with short hair, wearing glasses, gold jewelry, and a white off-shoulder top with a black belt, sitting on a blue couch with patterned pillows and a decorative knot pillow.

In my free time (yes, I take some!), you’ll find me:

Spoiling my Boston Terrier (who is my constant office companion)

Cheering way too loudly for the Tennessee Vols (Go Vols!)

Savoring a good glass of wine with great conversation

Laughing with friends until my face hurts and my abs accidently worked out.

Because the work isn't all deep breaths and journal prompts — it also looks like joy, rest, and the moments that remind you this is what you're building toward.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you remember it. (Even on the days you don’t want to.)
